Especially when it’s freshly out of the oven, these badge-shaped puffs have a flaky exterior with a mildly-sweet kaya filling that goes best with a cup of white coffee. I sincerely hope that such traditional bakeries will continue to be passed down to the later generations as this is a slice of heritage and history that must be preserved.
