If you are feeling hungry, you can consider the Makino Tendon & Soba Set ($25.90), which comes with a spread of food such as prawn squid, maitake mushroom, eggplant, butternut pumpkin, French bean and egg served on half portion alike a tendon bowl, and a half portion of cold soba. The batter was light and crispy, and none of that greasy flavour, which was highly appreciated as many tendon bowls out there had that oily aroma.

If you prefer something lighter, you can get the Chicken Tempura ($14.90), which comes with chicken fillet, broccolini, maitake mushroom, butternut pumpkin and French bean, and you can top up for a bowl of rice to complete the meal. All in all, a very good tempura restaurant, an uncommon sight in the F&B scene in Singapore.
