This was an unexpected order as we needed to have another item to fill up our tummies. However, what came unassuming let us very impressed with the flavours and aroma. Cubes of carrot cake were evenly coated with the mild spicy XO sauce and sprinkled with crushed peanuts. A dish that doesn't warrant much attention but sure packs a mean punch. Never underestimate food that's black and ugly, it might just turn out to be one of the tastiest.
