Drinking coffee makes me buzzy, but I might need some to kickstart the fresh week ahead – in the form of this bittersweet dessert.

There's a lot going on here, what with crunchy chocolate pops, meringue and chocolate jelly, but it all works together pretty well. Infused with Oriole's signature coffee blends, the cake itself is a little dry. But it isn't meant to be eaten on its own. Rather, make sure every mouthful is moistened with that indulgent espresso crème anglaise and whipped cream.
