We came with high expectations but left with a tinge of disappointment. Having read that they have changed their recipe, the Ayam Goreng Berempah Set ($18.80) didn’t have the wow factor as it used to have. The rice was not lemak enough and the fried chicken was lacking in flavour as the only spices you can taste is on the outer skin. There was supposed to be crispy rempah crumbs as mentioned in the menu but I guess it was left out or came with a tiny portion. The important sambal chilli is towards the sweeter side which I would have hoped for a spicier version. This is most certainly not the best nasi lemak in Singapore but a decent option, especially for tourists.
