First stop yesterday was to visit a local eatery that sells mala soup, somewhat alike to our version of yong tau foo where you get to pick your items before it gets blanched and served in a soup. As the weather is slowly getting chilly, this is very therapeutic and the perfect warmer for the body.

The best part was that each item ranges from 1 to 3 RMB and my bowl comes up to around 12 RMB (~$2.50).
