This is their Ciabatta Pizza ($4.50) and oh it is divine!! 🙌🏻 I originally came here hoping to get their lovely looking pastries (cruffins, croissants, danishes), but the owner told me that they had been sold out since 11am. (Update: my friend had gone another day and it was sold out at 9am...) I was sad but I got this instead and I am so pleased!

It’s a slice of sourdough, baked with a tomato purée, mild tasting cheese, cherry tomatoes and a basil leaf on top. Sounds simple, but it tasted amazing, especially after they kindly heated it up for me. The highlight here is definitely the sour dough- crunchy on the outside and soft inside with a substantial bite. (I left so many toast crumbs around me while munching on it.) It was warm and the tomatoes were juicy and went great with the oozy cheese. I confess this is my soft spot for food pairings - tomato and cheese.

Will try to come back here in the future to nab some of their pastries to try! It’s located behind Empress Market, near Farrer Road mrt (the circle line station, not the purple line one), so it’s quite convenient to get to.
