It was so difficult for me to resist the temptation to get my hands on the Prawn basil pesto pasta after watching Chef Terence and @wobblethebui‘s live cooking demo on Monday, that I made an impromptu decision to drop by @elevenstrands the next day after work!

Living up to its popularity, the prawn basil pesto pasta is definitely a no-brainer, especially with the handmade tagliatelle. As tantalizing as it looked on-screen, each strand of the al dente pasta was gloriously coated with the aromatic, herbaceous pesto. Savour the earthy, nutty flavours from pine nuts and chopped garlic in the creamy pesto on a different dimension, as they complete the sweetness from the grilled prawns. Nothing beats the addition of grated Parmigiano Reggiano for a strong, complex savouriness.
