Feeling peckish late morning when I saw this long queue at Jing Jing. Ordered their white carrot cake $3.00, when it was my turn (queue moves pretty fast).

For me it was hit and miss. I liked the crispy eggs and there’s plenty of it for a small portion. But I wished the eggs would be coated evenly on the strips of carrot cake rather than seeing most of it stand alone by itself. Same goes for the chai poh. Whole clumps of it could be found together while swaths of carrot cake were devoid of it. The carrot cakes itself were quite bland so it was literally a mouthful of delight followed by a mouthful of plainness.

I will come back for their sweet sauce version. Hope it gets better.
