The bentos here at Caffe Zeppin comprises a bit of everything: garlic fried rice, chawanmushi, potato salad, tamagoyaki and a choice between katsu, salmon teriyaki/shioyaki and yakitori.

The pork cutlet in their Katsu Bento (S$12.90) seem to be pretty lean and does not feel oily. And their chilled tamagoyaki (Japanese egg omelette) tasted quite smooth and sweet, comparable with those served in Japanese restaurant chains. It would have been perfect if there is a piping hot bowl of miso soup included in the bento set, but this is sort of a decent lunch.
