Focusing on honest Italian cooking, Fico’s menu is seasonal and features sharing plates, fresh pasta, mains and desserts. Start your meal with the signature focaccina, a focaccia-pizza that has been described as having the perfect lightness and crunch. We got the San Marzano Tomatoes that was absolutely divine with the bestest of ingredients from bufala mozzarella, basil, EVOO and the sweetest tomatoes. For sharing, the Fritto Misto is a plate of deep fried calamari, prawn, pettole and zucchini fritters.

Fresh pasta is always welcomed and the Burnt Wheat Balanzoni is what we got, which are large tortellini-like pasta stuffed with aubergine and cacioricotta, paired with a brown butter sauce. There are a few available mains such as the Grilled Pork Collar that comes with green asparagus and an anchovy sauce. You cannot miss out on the desserts, especially when it’s wheeled tableside via a trolley. Even if you are stuffed by then, select 2-3 to share such as the cannoli with ricotta and pistachios, apple torta and the burrata gelato that is paired with a strawberry and tomato jam, and EVOO.
