Brazilian and Colombian blend. Used the $5 one for one coffee for takeaway which makes it super worth. If you like nutty and roasty notes it’s definitely a winner.
they hv a lottt of craft beers and some rly good looking pastries which i haven't tried but i'll prob be back! the burpple deal says takeaway but if u go when there's nobody they'll let u sit there :D the barista & ppl working there r rly nice
For a small space, they have a surprisingly large
selection of craft beers - even this super malty
stout from denmark! Can’t wait to try the other beers!
Just a few steps away from Somserset Skate Park, you'll find this bustling spot tucked away in 111 Somerset brimming with skaters and cafe-goers alike! Burppler Xing Wei Chua especially enjoyed the Flat White ($5), which was "actually surprisingly well-pulled — smooth, creamy with a medium body and a roasty and earthy flavour profile". Other note-worthy drinks include their Specialty Cold Brew White ($8) and Baby Cino ($3.50). Apart from good coffee and wide varities of craft beers, you'll also find this hangout space retailing skateboards and related knick knacks.
Spent my Christmas Eve afternoon with a cup of coffee at this new spot at 111 Somerset; a space that is tucked away at the back of the mall that I did not even knew that it existed — located just beside the entry/exit to the mall where So Good Hong Kong Char Chaan Teng is located.
Being predominantly a shop that caters to skaters retailing skateboard and related peripherals (a pretty apt location given it being beside the skate park at Somerset MRT Station), Halfpipe Skate Bar also serves as a small hangout (limited to two tables and a bar counter that seats five) which serves coffee and a rather wide variety of craft beers in the display chiller.
The Flat White was actually surprisingly well-pulled — smooth, creamy with a medium body and a roasty and earthy flavour profile, which came pretty unexpected from a place where coffee seems more to be their side gig.
Halfpipe now serves pastries! Cruffins, coffee, croissants and kouign amann!
