Escaped the city bustle last weekend and found my little pocket of calm at the charming zen teahouse, @inner.teahouse — the perfect retreat to slow down, connect over tea, and savour the freshest harvest of Wild Black Tea from Tongmu, Fujian Province, China.
I was so well taken care of here, and I absolutely loved their wholesome, traditional tea experience. Every cup felt like a story of craft and art, made even more special with exquisite handcrafted teaware by Japanese ceramic artist Junichiro Hayashi (林润一郎), beautifully curated by @round_and_round.gallery.
For this special July tea event,「根深叶远」红茶茶会 ($88), they also collaborated with @flourcrafts to create two limited-edition treats — a crispy, caramelised canelé with rich black tea notes paired with fragrant Earl Grey ice cream, and a moist financier delicately infused with tea aroma.
