Apparently this is a typical Kerala curry. Medium spicy. It has black lentils with slices of coconut. So interesting to find actual coconut in it instead of just using coconut milk. Yes, this is my first time having Kerala food. Love this too!

At first taste, it reminded me of mango acar. Sourish but oh so spicy. Definitely not for those who can’t eat spicy. I love spicy so it was a thumbs up for me.

This has got to be the best deconstructed samosa I’ve had so far. A mix of crunchy, sour, sweet. Lovely start to a meal.
