$7.20 for the rich herbal soup filled with pig - ribs, innards and some leafy veggie.
They are down to the last few bowl of pork ribs so if you are around the corner, come and grab yours now! π
Klang, Malaysia fashion. Chinese herb infused soup. Rich and flavorful. $12 serves two.
The difference between the teochew version and klang version? The teochew version is clear soup and peppery taste, while the klang version is thick, cloudy and has a herbal taste. Here's a photo of Klang style bak kut teh. Read more: http://www.misstamchiak.com/leong-kee-klang-bak-kut-teh/
It was ok... But everything tastes nice when one is hungry... Takes awhile for the food to be served though.
Prawn paste chicken & this is so good, so crispy! I finished my BKT before I start on this and it's still VERY crispy. S$5.50
Bak ku teh with 6 pieces of ribs, vege & fried tau Kee. S$6
(Different from our usual BKT, this is Klang style I suppose. So the soup is darker in colour, not pepperish and very flavorful)

Lunch today is Bak Kut Teh and Braised Trotter which sis bought for us from Leong Kee
.
Their BKT base has a thick and herbal taste compared to the Teochew version which is clear and peppery. Braised trotter also tender and tasty and I love those βcollagenβ π
