Breakfast
Made it a big one for our last breakfast in Bali.
Fueling up before heading to the beach. Cheapest eggs ben I've ever had, at only about S$8, including fresh fruit juice and coffee.
I still find it hard to believe that this costs only $11.50 nett. Going by the moniker "The Ultimate Combo", it's an all-day breakfast item that includes a double dose of pancake, egg, pork bacon and chicken chipolata sausage. Admittedly, the pancakes can't compete with Strictly Pancakes' ones. Nevertheless this is worth a try for those with big appetites.
Smoked potato, Chorizo Iberico, Buckwheat. At S$12 per egg, this is by far the most expensive egg I ever had! BUT it's worth every penny! So smooth it slides down your throat.
Valrhona Chocolate Waffle with Vanilla Ice Cream & Strawberries. Waffle is fluffy but not crispy enough. Would be better if the chocolate taste is stronger. Ice cream's smooth thou'.
Croissant with home-cured bacon & scrambled eggs. Croissant's light, flaky & buttery. The thin, crispy strips of bacon's so addictive! The scrambled eggs a tad overdone thou'.. A wonderful brunch to kickstart my day!
Salted Caramel Waffle // Churros Waffle
Brioche French toast with house-made hazelnut butter, stewed green apples, crispy bacon. Hands down -- the BEST French toast I've ever had. Eggy, fluffy brioche with not-too-sweet, perfectly stewed apples complemented by salty bacon. Each bite was balanced and satisfying, a must-try for sure.
