Beautiful space, beautiful looking dessert
Finally get to try the tarts. Like their Earl Grey tart more!
Love the texture of the donut and how the egg yolk will just flow. If the taste of the egg yolk is stronger, I'm sure it will garner even more fans than it already has.
"Party in your mouth Honey Toast " - Crispy honey toast with strawberry sauce and vanilla ice-cream .
Red Ruby, Mango Sticky Rice and Chendol.
Beautiful, like a piece of art .
A chocolate sphere, which contain mousse made from 70% single origin chocolate and caramelized plantain (member of banana family) vanilla cream, sits gloriously on top of a brittany crunch and crowned with a jewel box of rum .
Once again, nicely balanced. It's not overly powerful with chocolate. Good mix of slight chocolate and the plantain taste. Though I must admit, as a chocolate lover, I was actually expecting an explosion of chocolate taste. Disappointed when I didn't get that "in-your-face" kinda chocolate encounter but still it was a well-executed dessert.
One word to describe - "Lightness"
A coconut sablée tart with light coconut mousse on top of a smooth lemon curd that has the right balance of sweetness and sourness. The sugar crystal drops that are sprinkled on top of the tart gives a nice surprise and adds a sense of crunch and glam-ness to the tart .
Overall, a really delightful eat. None of the individual item is overpowering, everything just blend in really well to give you that well-balanced marriage of flavors and texture.
Sam Sam - Red Ginseng syrup with almond flakes and an addition dose of caramel popcorn. Sweet and smooth, yeah but why is soft serve so expensive now? Is it really worth it?
Fruit tart always have such an alluring effect on me. They are usually the first to call out to me to order them and I usually do as well. However, I have a certain expectation of how a tart should be and it may be easy to disappoint me as well .
This tart still needs to be perfected (in terms of taste), especially the Shortbread Crust, but I can't deny how beautiful it looks.
If you are in town and craving for a little sweetness, drop by Lady M at Orchard Central for this new creation specially for this "Love is in the air" month.
Framboise au Chocolat is a light, dark velvety mousse (though i feel it is more of a ganache texture) atop a chocolate sponge cake and polished with a smooth raspberry glaze.
This is the personal favorite of all at the table! The raspberry glaze is a good complement to the rich, sweet dark chocolate, offering some balance . So give this Framboise au Chocolat a try if you are in the area!
