The Sushi Bar is known for two things: long queues and salmon aburi rolls. Their aburi rolls are topped with salmon and mentaiko mayo, and lightly seared with a blowtorch. To-die-for! Be sure to order the Chirashi Don, it doesn't get more value-for-money at $24, with such decadently thick cuts of sashimi! Be sure to make reservations.

The Traveling C.O.W is just one out of the few food vans being operated in Singapore, and only two of them sells pretty much artisanal fare (the other is Kerbside Gourmet). C.O.W actually means Chef On Wheels for those who are not in the know. The specialties of The Traveling C.O.W are largely burgers, from the Wagyu Beef Burger to the in-fashion Ramen Burgers; all of which pretty bistro-style. They do have a regular schedule on where they would appear on their Facebook page, where they also update their special appearances for other events as well so keep a lookout there if you are keen to try!

Deep-fried potato. Toothsome pulled pork. Melted mozzarella. Do I really need to explain why I will be back for more?

Swearing by how delicious they are! Will be having second serving!

Salted caramel maracon milkshake

The truffle smell was overwhelming the moment the truffle fries are served to us. It was good! But I feel symmetry was better with the fries soaked in truffle.

I love Ispahan macaron! So when Kino asked what flavour I want, I said rose, lychee and raspberry! So glad she knew I was referring to Ispahan! If I remember correctly, she muddled fresh raspberries, added rose water, rum, a hint of lemongrass, egg white to create the foam, as well as 2 types of lychee liquor, of which 1 was actually some elderflower liquor that taste like lychee. Served at the side was a small cup of sweetened cream for me to take a sip then sip the cocktail to create the "creaminess" of the Ispahan macaron. Genius! She nailed it! The cocktail was good without the cream! 👍Disclaimer: She mentioned they don't do this presentation if it's crowded! So please take note!
