Brunch (Waffles, French Toasts, Sandwiches & more!)
The light waffle & roasted pistachio icecream never fails 👍🏻
Also v happy that creamier decided to open a second (slightly more accessible) outlet!
Call it ambience, feel or vibe, this cafe with its lustrous monochromatic scheme of black and white is what I needed to perk up my breakfast meeting and get the brain working in the morning. Sometimes, it's really not about the food and coffee anymore.
🗒Triple B ($21), Egg Benedict ($16),
Latte ($5)
Since it was quite costly, my group of 4 people decided to share our breakfast. To be honest, it was satisfying for all of us. I recommend both!! :-) We payed around SGD66 for these 2 dishes and each of us had a drink (my latte was $6). Fast service. Would come again (with a group of people still haha)
Brunch is always a good idea hence for New Year we travelled to, slightly out-of-the-way, Boufe Boutique café located within Phoenix Park along Tanglin Road. As my first visit, the place left a strong impression with its lovely café interior and al fresco area (yay to good lighting) but more memorable is of us getting very lost in the rain. My friends shared The Triple B that came with a little of everything on a single plate - croissant, luscious scrambled eggs, sausages, bacon, well-seasoned sautéed mushroom and salad. However the unanimous favourite was the Brioche French Toast ($19) I ordered - Thick pillowy homemade brioche in French toast mix, topped with fresh berries, caramelised banana, almond crumble, maple syrup and delectable cream chantilly which strangely remind me of deconstructed strawberry shortcake. Overall their brunch menu is promising and pleasing.
Nutella cronut combination of a croissant and a donut.
Having brunch at this NEW brunch place opened by the same owners from Wild Honey - The Reuben with pastrami that has such an intricate and intoxicating taste. Pastrami is thinly sliced and tender. Indeed, it lives up to Wild Honey's reputation of being one of the first brunch place in Singapore
Had breakfast for dinner last night at this little diner with my girlfriends. Quaint little diner hidden away in the shophouses of Tanjong Pagar, can't wait to explore more food places around this estate in time to come! Dinner was pretty affordable, ranges from $8-$16 and I personally had eggs Ben for $12. Have a good time while you're there whether alone or with company 😋
Asked for a personal recommendation and the very kind staff pointed this out from the brunch menu. What you have here is a combination of eggs, toast, cheese and bacon that completes the flavor of this dish. Served with wonderfully crisp garlic fries and greens. Amazing value at only $14!
Not your usual French Toast, as Ronin's version comes with a twist. The toast was soft and fluffy, instead of crispy because it was drenched in maple syrup. Accompanied with caramelized apples and crispy bacon, this combination added a new dimension of taste.
Limited menu that's recited to you by the staff. Delicious food served with a moody, so-hip-that-it-hurts vibe. Laidback chillout beats. Light's turned low with pockets of warm lighting. Slinky club feel. But filled with delicious smells of sizzling bacon and fresh coffee. Unexpected but nice.
A luxurious rendition with the fluffiest, eggiest toast unabashedly soaked with maple syrup and topped with a pad of hazelnut butter (my favourite part). This is my third time having it and i still think it's the best french toast in town.
