First ever Tai Cheong Bakery where they serve cha chaan teng items like Bolo Bun, French Toast etc. Scrambled Egg Toast Stack with Chicken Chop, three scrambled eggs with buttered toast and chicken chop bathed in mushroom sauce. Soft fluffy eggs was a total joy though the dish is slightly salty. Not a fan of chicken chop? Go for scrambled egg option only ($6.50) or spam fries ($8.50).

Just across the road from Beauty World MRT Station is this homey Korean restaurant owned and run by Koreans — an indication that the food here is as authentic as it gets. If that isn't enough to convince you, here's another fact — the restaurant is usually packed with twice as many Korean patrons than Singaporeans so expect to wait around 20 minutes for a table during peak hours. When your body is in need of a soothing pot of spicy stew, be sure to order the Sundubu Jjigae ($10 for seafood) — a bubbling cauldron for one consisting of smooth tofu, vegetables and finished with a raw egg cracked in the middle, served with a side of rice. Their side dishes ('banchan' in Korean) like sausages, kimchi and omelette, are stellar. These are refillable till you're happily stuffed!

Nothing beats local Kopi and Teh for that mid-day caffeine boost. These Nonya kueh-kueh are surprisingly good, better than Bengawan Solo, less sweet and somewhat more authentic. I like the flavours - Gula Melaka, Rainbow Kueh, Lavendar Kueh (there's a real subtle hint of Lavendar to it), pretty and interesting. Kueh-kueh @ S$1 per slice or S$2.80 for 3, decently priced. Worth a return 👍

Pine Garden's Cake is one of the most recognizable icons within the neighbourhood it is located at, having been there for a long time and known for selling delectable nostalgic cream cakes ever since. Their selection is rather wide, with many flavours to choose from, and with they also have seats to accommodate dine-in patrons situated at the corridor outside. Lychee Martini is a must-try; it's light alcoholic flavour and sweetness blends harmoniously which makes it feel rich. The most attracting part must be the prices itself; a slice of cake goes off at $2.80 each; does makes one wonder why cafes are charging so much these days!

Lots of herb I like the sauce. Salad was nice with the cheese on it. Price was $17.80 excluding GST. Service was average kinda in a hurry to clear your plates but when you need help they are not there. Had to catch their attention a few times :\ overall food was nice a great place to hang out with friends :) 8/10
