Coffee
Wanted to try their January special, Chocolate Chilli Mocha, but they ran out of chocolate... So I went for the Pepper Agave Latte ($7.50). Behind the strangest combination (which surprisingly works), of black pepper, agave nectar, is a really good smooth cuppa with no hint of bitterness. Nothing like good coffee to pick me up when I am down 👌🏼
According to him, the secret's in the pour.

Flat White here is of a blend of Ethiopian and Colombian beans, which has a berry-like flavour profile with a caramel finish.
Tasting notes of their special in-house blend:
- Subtle acidity
- Sweetness of a milk chocolate
- Distinctive hazelnut flavour
- Medium bodied
- Lingering finish of cocoa
AEIOU's coffee consultant Tony Tan (who's been a judge at several regional competitions for baristas) created this blend. His aim was to have something different from what's being served by the other cafes around the Jalan Besar area, so cafe-hopping customers would have more choice. A smart move me thinks.
Espresso with chocolaty goodness!~ Yesterday at #OneManCoffee during #CoffeeAndCravings meetup.
$3.90 only very affordable consistenc, nutty smooth cup. Didnt realize so many cafes dont open on monday.
pronounced acidic, clean fruitty subtle apricot with a hint of nuttiness. Pretty good coffee.
Was visiting cafes today for a new article and stopped by. Asked if i could sample a cup for writeup, and got directed to wait (ill gladly just pay if they dont do sampling). After 30 mins waiting, they asked if i could just pay for the coffee. Argh i would have done that from the beginning if they just said so.
After a good 6 cups of coffee, this is arguably the best coffee so far. Well balanced, smooth, slight plum taste with very good milk foam that holds its form in a creamy body.
Very unique concept, bringing in roasters from all over the world. After the 8th cup of coffee my fingers are starting to sweat. #tnbsg
