Wafflin All Day
Recommended Ice Cream flavours at Twenty Grammes - Triple C (Crusty Caramel Chocolate) and Boysenberry (Mixed Berries) ice cream.
My first mouth was rather overwhelming, with the taro chunks, taro waffle, taro sauce and vanilla ice cream. However the taro waffle by itself is really good - fragrant batter with a mellow taro taste. The waffles lean towards a pancake texture. Don't expect it to be the crisp fluffy kind of waffle! The vanilla ice cream was too sweet and artificial for my liking but the texture wasn't too bad. Presentation wise, full marks!
Creamier's long queues and licked-dry plates are testament to the truly addictive nature of their ice cream and waffles. Expect to queue even on a weeknight, but it's seriously worth it. Two perfectly crisp waffles stay firm below two scoops of dense ice cream. Go for the Salted Caramel Gula Melaka and the Roasted Pistachio. Photo by Geraldine Tay.
At $12.90, this amazing Waffles Stacko is truly a steal. A great choice when you're in the town area, this simple cafe is great for indulging in ice cream and hot, crispy waffles. Perfect for students and groups of friends, get a nice big stack to share! If you're a small party, go for the Sinfully Chocolate or the Merry Berry. Photo by Rachelle Ling.
Strangers' Reunion's light buttermilk waffles topped with Greek yoghurt, honey and fresh berries has been hailed the best waffle in town by many. It's hard to fight these near-perfect waffles, so warm and fluffy you almost never knew a waffle could be that good. The yoghurt / berries/ honey combination leaves you feeling refreshed and satiated at the same time. Try these if you haven't yet. Photo by Jiehui Teo.

Already known for their great brunch items, such as their Flan (which you should get before these waffles), Symmetry also nails the waffle. At $14, bananas, strawberries, peanut butter, hazelnut chocolate, maple syrup and vanilla ice cream sit atop crispy, fluffy waffles. Get an extra scoop of blueberry ice cream for a near-perfect dish! This brand new cafe along Evans Road highly recommends their salted caramel waffles, which are light, fluffy and tasty. The coffee here is decent too. Needless to say, this cafe will please the Bukit Timah folks! Photo by Alain Foodology.
Honeycomb ice cream married well with the buttery waffle base, a blissful ending! :* brilliant work!
Cookies&cream/Teh tarik~
With strawberries, banana, maple syrup, fresh whipped cream, dark chocolate ice cream and wafer πππ«π
I have to say I really like the buttermilk waffles here. With a lightly crunchy exterior and a fluffy interior that has a hint of cinnamon, it's altogether most pleasing. Having had it with butter rum bananas previously, I opted for the blueberry compote and strawberries this time. Gently sweet, the luscious and thick compote was exceptionally wonderful with the creamy New Zealand Natural vanilla ice-cream.
