finally got to try the much-raved singapore's best blackforest cake!!! gotta love its strong alcoholic taste with a special crust beneath which adds a nice texture. yumsss! this is a real good slice that comes w a hefty price tag tho haha the cheapo in me says it's not value for money lol so I better learn how to bake blackforest cake instead 😂 #burpple

It takes a lot of willpower to resist ordering everything at Lady M – everything looks SO GOOD. With their newest and largest outlet finally open in Orchard Central, their Signature Mille Crepes ($9/slice) are more accessible than ever. Think "20 silky sheets of handmade crepes alternated with pastry cream, with a golden, caramelised top. Melt-in-the-mouth goodness", as described by Burpple Tastemaker Rachel Xie. Be sure to try the seasonal Green Tea Mille Crepes ($9) and the Orchard Central Boutique-exclusive Chocolate Mille Crepes ($9) when you get the chance.

I have tasted many kinds of rainbow cake and this is the best! however the waffle was quite soft and didnt suit our taste, the mac and cheese is okay.

It's probably no surprise that Artistry's PB&J French Toast ($14) is on the list. Thick slices of brioche French toast are stuffed with peanut butter and raspberry jam, drizzled with maple syrup and served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a tart mixed berry compote. Grab and smear, dip and spread. Aim to get a bit of everything (especially the speculoos crumble) in a single bite. You're guaranteed a massive flavour and texture party in your mouth. This one, you'd want all to yourself.

Essentially a carrot cake party gatecrashed by a nutty, zesty fruitcake. The cream cheese frosting wasn't feeling very sociable and pretty much stayed in one corner the whole time. 3.8/5

Amazing cake, can really taste the green tea. Thin layer of crepe in between green tea cream. Cost $9 for a slice of it :9

The former was a tad sweeter than I'd hoped for but I love the flavours! (And the intriguing shade of blue hahaha.) The latter was good too as it's light and fluffy and paired with cream cheese frosting. Ah now I just wanna go back and try the other cakes! 😋
