Great for weak alcoholic drinkers too, because the soju here is relatively mild. Fun drink to order in a group, because you can even have joy scrapping off the watermelon flesh after you are done - watermelon soju dessert!
Finally met #naughtylily @lilychonglily and we started this drink as refresher before we moved on to soju bombs. Managed to see many sides of her 😂 Alcohol connects people!

4 of us shared 2 sets of 4 fingers crispy wings/drumettes (12 pcs combo at $16.95) with a mixture of soy garlic and hot sauce.
Crazy crowd during lunch hours, expect to wait for at least 20-30 minutes! Still as crispy as ever, this is one of my fav hangout for affordable korean fried chicken wings. Soy garlic over hot sauce for me!

We tried the Pork Rib Stew in Soy Sauce ($16 individual; $29 double) - served in cast-iron pots and heated up with flames to ensure consistent hotness.
The Australian mixed pork ribs were incredibly tender and well marinated with the sweet soy sauce, which also encompassed Korean pears and apples as part of the marination.
In fact, we couldn’t help but to drink the stew that was so appetizing
You can choose between Soy Sauce flavour (only for pork and beef) for non-spicy lovers as well as 4 levels of spiciness (pork, beef and chicken) for those who can accept spicy food!
All stews are added with either Korean glass noodles or udon to provide additional texture other than meat.
Thank you @sixthsensepr and @rachelxie for the hosted meal, and @thechoyalicious for extending the invitation to me!

Either way, you get to put your hands into good use and mould into the size of balls or shapes you like. Best of all, you get to eat it!
With a choice of either Anchovy or Tuna riceballs ($8), they are served with the ingredients and you have to put on the gloves, mixed them well and conjure into riceballs (or any shapes, subject to your creativity).
And this is how you roll in the deep. I enjoyed the crispy anchovies that provided the extra crunch to every bite, and the rice were made of three mixed grains – medium-grain white rice, stained purple from Korean black rice and Barley.

They have a few versions, such as the Sausage and Ham Soup (S - $29; L - $39) as shown in my picture and Kimchi Pork Soup.
For non-spicy lovers craving for a soupy meal, they also have Seafood and Rice Cake Ramen Soup or Ginseng Chicken Soup. You will be spoilt for choices with over 10 varieties.
Have been patronizing their shop for a few years but recently felt that the standard has dropped, with more sourish kimchi and less spicy base.

I am kinda indifferent towards Yangnyum sauce, but this was not spicy at all with a tad too thick sweet sauce.
It carried a strange herb-alike aftertaste and was vastly different from the usual Yangnyum sauce that I have tried in other places. Let me know what is your verdict after U try!

Honey Garlic Chicken ($13.90 for small) was highly acclaimed to be the best in-house flavour, and I wasn’t disappointed at all.
The crispy fried chicken was glazed with a rich amount of lightly sautéed chopped garlic in honey caramel sauce and I was biting off huge chunks of chopped garlic off the skin!
Great combination for garlic lovers, the fried chicken was bursting with intense garlic flavour accompanied by a sweet and sticky caramel sauce. Simply addictive and finger-licking garlicky goodness.

this is one of the better ones in town but a pity that there is no cheese. could be spicy at first, but taste will get balanced after several refill of soup. a tad too salty though.
this is totally perfect for a cold and rainy Monday!

strong craving last night after watching @danielfooddiary video, particularly towards the end when the twins smile.. so yes, craving to see the twins after failing to take a picture with them despite going twice.
these original wings may look normal, but the secret is to dip them with their home made mustard sauce. you could taste the difference immediately with hints of honey sauce and bits of crunchiness in the sauce. in fact, our friend ordered a bowl of rice and asked for additional mustard sauce to go with the rice.
their chicken never disappoint, because they seem to remain hot for a long time! the temperature really helps when you are eating fried chicken wings.
ps: i finally took a picture with the twins! just me and them, ohhh 😍

the chicken was served in bite sized and once you popped the first piece into your mouth, you couldn't resist the crispy, tangy and sweet chicken thereafter! this is worth about 30 pcs of chicken, so pls do share the calories.
the toasted tteokbokki could be a little bit too hard and lost its chewiness. but the sauce is really good!

chose the yangnyum sauce for the fried chicken and soy + garlic for the chicken wings!
yangyum sauce was more on the sweet side than spicy, and I personally prefer the soy and garlic sauce. the skin remained crispy despite the chicken turning cold as we were struggling to finish the food at the end, and you can really feel the juicy chicken in your mouth.
truffle fries lack truffle taste, but their fries were really CRISPY! no joke, every piece was consistently crispy.
ps: sucha bonus to be able to talk to one of the TWIN boss, who is quite cute in my eyes lah!

we ordered a set of 16 pcs wings (choose up to 4 flavours), 2 rice burgers and 4 drinks at only $57! love the garlic and sweet flavour the most, with really crispy skin and tender meat. don't bother ordering the original flavour - most unimpressive among all. do note that they only accept cash!
