cafehopping - cakes and tarts!
WHAT A STEAL because each of them ranges from $6.90 to $10.90 each!
Featuring (left to right) their limited Strawberry Shortcake, most popular Lemon Meringue Pie, and Yuzu Citron.
Great plating at a wallet friendly price. Simply in love with the spacious interior with high ceiling and tall glass windows, especially the friendly crews!

Light and fluffy!
The old-fashioned favourite tastes as great as it looks, and the softness of the cake was so dangerous that you will finish before you realized.

Need a sweet dessert to welcome the busy week with Pick Me Up ($11.90) - constructed with blended Arabica coffee-soaked ladyfingers with a hint of Kahlua, mascarpone cheese, doused in cocoa dust and coffee gelato served on the side.
The familiar Tiramisu was plated elegantly, almost too beautiful to be eaten. The ladyfingers were immersed heavily with the indulgent Arabica coffee, and the overall Tiramisu pleasantly melt in your mouth.

ended my lunch with a sweet treat to welcome the weekend. Seasonal special - speculoos cookie butter tart ($6.90) with biscoff cookie butter and cream cheese!
My favourite decadent speculoos cookie sauce was richly atop the light almond tart with a buttery crust. how much I adore speculoos 😍
An assault of richness when there was twice the amount of cream cheese, which got too 'jelak' towards the middle!
this is one of the better rainbow cake that I have tried, and I am so happy that they used cream cheese instead of the usual whipped cream! very rare to find because it is more expensive to use cream cheese 😂
at first glance, they were irresistible and I couldn't make up my mind on the flavours because they were all equally appealing and fighting for my attention. so in the end, we ordered 7 out of 9 flavours!
if I really gotta choose, my favourite is the Ispahan ($8.50) which is made up of lychee, rose and raspberry with a pretty rose petal. love the hint of lychee rose flavour which were creamy with slight crispiness of the éclair shell.
the only comment I have is, the fruits were all too sour to my liking. but I suppose they may be a good match to the sweet side of them?
don't expect this to be the flowing lava type, because this version came with molten hot chocolate fondant in the centre.
the devilishly cake was lip smacking with white truffle ice cream! the strong and distinctive white truffle with the melt-in-your-mouth chocolate is a timeless flavour 😍
I will never have the same satisfaction from lava cake + vanilla ice cream anymore.
Monday is down! so say YAY because long weekend is nearing. love the short work week (3 more days)!
cake was moist with thick amount of cream piped between colourful layers of cake. though I always prefer rainbow cake with cream cheese.

the exquisite chocolate cake was incredibly moist with rich layers of chocolate tiered within the smooth and fluffy cake. drizzled with sea salt, it triggered the subtle sweetness of the intense chocolate flavour and teased my tastebud.
pairing it with the not-overly-sweet salted caramel and ice cream created a timeless flavour with a perfect bang!
featuring the emperor's romance ($33.90) - lychee martini cheesecake topped with fresh lychees and chiffon light cream. indeed a magnificent looking cake, and made me felt I was having meringue.
generously infused with fresh lychee bits, the cake was light and fluffy, didn't felt cheesy at all. though it would be better with richer martini!
cut it apart and you will find great surprise, a layer of jelly-alike blood orange which was icy and refreshing! ain't the layering too pretty to be eaten?
