The fishball & abalone dried kway teow was light yet flavourful with noodles that had a nice spring and clean toss. The fishballs and fish cake carried that fresh bounce, while the prawn roll added a crisp, savoury bite to round out the meal.
It’s straightforward and nothing over the top, just a comforting spread that shows why people keep coming back.

This toast is all layers and love. Crisp edges, soft folds and that rich buttery aroma that hits the moment you slice in. It’s like a croissant in loaf form, perfect when toasted or have it plain on its own 》RM14.90
The kailan leaves were fried till light and crispy, almost like veggie chips, then finished with a fluffy layer of meat floss that added a sweet-savoury touch. Every bite was crisp, airy and disappears fast once it hits the table 》RM23.30 / Small
The tofu was golden and crisp on the outside, soft inside, soaking up a savoury sauce that was rich without being heavy. The minced meat added depth and texture, while the pickled vegetables gave a bright, tangy lift that balanced everything out. Loved the contrast and it is great with rice 》RM16.30 / Small
The duck is a standout with crispy skin, juicy meat and that gentle herbal depth that makes each bite feel comforting. What really stood out is the sauce. It’s rich, fragrant and so good that I find myself drizzling it over every spoonful of rice. A dish that feels both indulgent, nourishing and one that easily earns repeat orders 》RM26 / Upper Quarter
Some hits, some surprises and generous portions all around.
🐟 Salmon Skin
Ultra crispy, like the kind you’d find in snack packs. Comes with a mayo dip that adds a creamy, tangy contrast. Great starter, especially if you like your crunch loud 》RM13.90
🦪 Kaki Furai
Juicy inside, golden outside. Not too oily and the lemon wedge helps cut through the richness 》RM21.90
🐌 Escargot Miso Yaki
The snails are tender and the miso glaze adds a deep, savoury punch 》RM20.90
🦑 Surumi Ika Shio Yaki
Nicely charred, lightly salted and chewy in a good way. Simple, clean and great 》RM21.90
🪼Chuka Kurage
Light seasoning and not too sweet. A good crunchy and refreshing break between heavier dishes 》RM13.90
🍣 Kani Karage Maki
Massive crab stick sushi rolls topped with tobiko, crunchy tempura and bonito flakes. Messy and satisfying 》RM26.90
Smooth custard, fresh prawn and ikura for that umami pop. Mushroom slice tucked in as expected. Nothing to shout about but it does the job if you’re after something warm to start 》RM18.90
Thick cuts of salmon belly, crosshatched and sitting pretty on crushed ice. Ikura on top gave it that umami pop.
Super fresh, super buttery. Every bite was clean and rich, no weird aftertaste, just pure melt-in-your-mouth goodness 》RM31.90
This bowl was a full-on colour party. Thick cuts and super fresh slices of salmon, tuna, scallop, squid, swordfish, surf clam and prawn all laid out like a seafood parade. Ikura added that briny pop and the tamagoyaki came stamped with a little nice touch. Same mushroom rice as the salmon don and I’m still not over it 》RM40.90
Thick, fresh slices of salmon laid out like a fan, with ikura sitting pretty in the centre. Each bite was rich and briny in the best way. The rice wasn’t just a base. It had savoury mushroom bits mixed in that gave it an earthy depth. Beautifully plated, generously portioned and packed with flavour 》RM34.90
Gave this a go while exploring JB and it was pretty decent. Chicken’s got that crispy skin and comes drenched in a thick soy sauce that’s sweet, savoury and a little sticky. Rice was surprisingly fragrant.
Chili’s more tangy than spicy and the soup is your usual light broth that has nothing to shout about but it rounds out the meal. Portion’s generous and the stall has got that classic JB hawker vibe.
I wouldn’t travel again just for this but if I’m nearby and hungry, I wouldn’t mind having it again 》RM12
This toast is made with Belgian chocolate hazelnut, New Zealand cream cheese and premium French butter, the quality shines through.
Cutting in reveals a molten chocolate hazelnut core, creamy Basque cheese on top and soft, fragrant toast beneath. Gooey, rich and balanced. A treat that feels both comforting and indulgent.

I'm in a relationship with food. Why can't we just declare our never ending love and vows towards some food item? I'm sure that would not result in divorces.
