Ice Cream, Waffles And More!
Finally got to try their cakes here. Went on a weekday night during dinner :p No crowd! Tried their dark chocolate and banana cake + speculoos cheesecake. Both are really goood!
Dark Choc and banana($6.80): It was quite a light cake which wasn't too sweet at all! Not too dry and not too moist too. Loved it!
Speculoos Cheesecake($8): This was really tasty. The speculoos flavour combined with the cheesecake was really good. However, it was quite gelat and really sweet after eating a few mouths.
Will recommend any cake there. 👍🏻 But do try the dark chocolate and banana one :p

Chanced upon this cafe and tried their Blue Vanilla Seasalt Soft serve ice cream- today's flavour! It's really quite unique I must say. The seasalt flavour is pretty strong. What's more, you can have two toppings and one sauce when you buy the ice cream, all for $3.90. They have cool doughnuts for sale too!
👍🏻 Pop by this small, cosy place for a lazy night hangout. (The place really can fit v few people though, maybe 8 pple in total)
Rating: 4/5 for cool small cafe in an old neighborhood 🌟
New kid in town!! This is their crispy cinnamon bread/cake roll topped with chocolate soft serve ice cream! Yum! It's really a bit difficult to eat but nevertheless I still enjoyed it, especially the soft serve ice cream! This is smth unique rather than the usual ice cream cone. It is located just opposite the grand theatre at scape. They sell different combinations of flavours of cake and ice cream too so do check them out!
$4.50 per roll+ice cream

Yummy cakes at affordable prices! I'm sure most of you have heard of this shop! They sell awesome Swiss rolls which are really, RICH AND GOOD! Their kaya one is their best sellers, but I must say their chocolate roll tasted nicer than the kaya in my opinion :) Sweet, moist, and really flavourful! Go down and get some for your family and friends! Price ranges mostly from $7-$8 for their different flavours ❤️

Ice cream from Oblong! 🍦 I particularly like their butterscotch ice cream! Rich and creamy! Their earl grey lavender was a bit too icy and had a lack in earl grey flavour. The other was their dark chocolate flavour if I'm not wrong. It was average though. Maybe you could come here for their interesting waffle flavours esp their red velvet waffle! 👍🏻

3. You get to choose up to TWO ice cream flavours
4. VERY affordable prices for their small, medium and large cups (3.40,4.20,5.20)

Guys, I know the North has very few nice dessert choices....I feel you. But fret not, found this place which really can quite hit the spot for dessert lovers out there! It's located at Jalan Tampang, the shop building opposite the famous bai mee fen coffee shop. Both desserts bought were delish. The first one was durian crispy pancake. The crispness of the pancake was their selling point! Durian was also, yummy, as usual. 👍🏻👍🏻 next was the matcha waffles. Their selling point for this was in their waffle! Crispy and good! Matcha ice cream not real matcha tho. Anyhow, I must say this dessert place surprised me! 😌paid $13.90 for the two desserts. A bit pricy for the location, but nevertheless worth a try! 😋😋
I FINALLY😱 got to try this place that has been picking up popularity because of it's soft serve and neh neh pop (on left;as it is called) ice cream. For the matcha soft serve, it was good that it was not sweet and very rich in matcha flavour! But it had quite a beady texture to it I'm not sure how to explain. (I prefer the one at bugis plus-more milky!)However, I really loved the other one! It had a bit of sesame flavour at first, then it was yummy green tea and chocolate flavour with Gula Melaka in the middle(I think it was that or caramel?) 😍 Minus points was that it was really quite hard to find the place 😓 it's located at the extension side of icon village so do look out for it. Overall damage ($8+$5.90=13.90)-quite pricy. Good to try at least once ☺️
Came here to try the Avocado Soft Serve (also $2) and couldn’t resist sampling this new flavour. 😁 So glad we gave in to our greediness because this was better than the avocado!
I anticipated it to taste like melon candy, but their use of real fruits was evident in the milkshake-like flavour sans the cloying sweetness.
Totes deserving of joining Petitllao, Mr Bean’s soy milk soft serve, and Amasoy’s matcha soy milk soft serve in my reliable sweet cheap thrills library. 🌟
This is delish. Been here a few times and their desserts never fail. Their durian desserts are their best sellers! They have a whole lot of other shaved ice desserts too including mango and chocolate, as well as traditional hot/cold Chinese desserts. This place is a to-go place if you're hitting the streets of Bugis! Also, it's a great treat at $8.50 for a weather as humid as this! ☀️☀️☀️
Paid $12.50 for double scoops with waffles! Not the cheapest around but it's really yummy! Strawberry lime Sorbet and Sea salt Gula Melaka 👍🏻 Crispy waffles 👍🏻 Non-peak hour crowd 👍🏻 Went there on a weekday evening before dinner- at least we were able to find seats. The place is pretty small so if you want seats, go during non-peak hours!
Super cool place with a carnival theme! They even have one carousel looking seat corner! The dish above costs $12 with an extra scoop of ice cream. Their Gula Melaka is 👍🏻 followed by their strawberry cheesecake flavour! V sweet but delist! Come on down for a unique wonderland experience! ☺️
