Want to venture away from the usual Vietnamese pho? Then head straight for these hearty and flavourful broken rice bowls (cơm tấm). Cơm tấm is a humble dish unique to southern Vietnam that sports a couscous-like texture. It is a cheaper grade of rice traditionally preferred by poorer folks, but has gained popularity over the years due to its ability to soak up flavour. Their specialties include the Sautéed Lemongrass Pork Slices Rice Bowl ($9.90), which comes with BBQ pork ribs, ham and a fried egg, and the Crispy Soft-shell Crab and Crispy Squid Rice Bowl ($13.90). You get to choose between steamed Vietnamese broken rice or kimchi fried rice.

The superbly good tenderloin which is my all-time favourite. And I declare that this place serves the best mac&cheese!!! With truffles.

East 8's Molten Peanut Butter Chocolate Lava Cake ($15) is possibly the epitome of decadence (well, if you're a fan of peanut butter and chocolate). Save the best for last — after you've had a good round of their delectable tapas, go ahead and order the lava cake. Served hot from the oven with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on the side for balance, this is one dessert you should share but might not want to. Dig in and you'll find a molten peanut butter core enveloped by moist, warm chocolate cake.
4.5 munchies: Freshly made, well-cooked pappardelle with soft and tender braised pork cheeks that could be torn off easily. I also loved the Italian red wine that was added to the savoury pasta sauce, giving it depth and robustness. Garnished delicately with shaved Parmesan and parsley, this high quality traditional Italian pasta would make an ideal dish for a date night.
Indulgence yumminess
Food was decent. Huge selection. Great for pasta lovers. Staff was super friendly and nice. Recommended!!

I love this!! The beef steak slices are cooked perfectly, and because they are fatty, they are so juicy! The exterior is slightly blackened because it is charred to give the wonderful crust! The whole bowl came together so well after mixing the sous-vide egg to coat the beef and rice.
