Cafe Food
From in-house made schmears to artisanal bagels, an extensive range of bagels that doesn't disappoint! Had my second try and it was still as amazing as the first time. They do sell their schmear's spread individually as well!
Definitely a dish you have to share with someone! This dish packs a lot of flavours and the sourdough was toasted perfectly π
Their sweet potato fries was the highlight of the day, drizzled with salted egg sauce and garnished with curry leaves. Waffles with chicken wasn't really fascinating, but the sauce had a special taste to it (not enough! π). Can't comment much about the tortilla cuz I didn't try it. | Price-wise, it's kinda steep for a neighbourhood cafΓ¨ |
The hotcake (note: NOT pancake) tastes like crispy ιΈ‘θη³. Worth a try but maybe just once? Cuz it's quite expensive for a dessert. Mains are relatively alright with an Asian twist, but again, can be quite pricey. Coffee is top notch ππΌ
Back for their wagyu pizza π. On a side note, how did they make their fries fully infused with truffle?! I could still taste it every time I burp ππ
Cafe/chill out: Cakes and Ale @Sorrento, Melbourne. Although this is not in Singapore, I have to post it, cuz the service and food here is undeniably good π, the ambience too. Will love to come back if I have the chance (backpack, maybe?π). Anyway, this is a 480gm ribeye with mustard seeds and herb butter. Their butter prawns are recommended too!!
Different from what u would expect from pulled pork (i.e. Shredded pork drenched in bbq sauce), their version of pulled pork was marinated like charsiew sauce or hoisin sauce(?). Different in a good way. Reasonably priced with no GST/Service charge. Will definitely come back.
