Essentially two soft-boiled eggs enveloped in more melted cheese than you might find on a pizza, and baked to a slight crisp on the outside. The end result? A parcel of gooey deliciousness, that pleases both your tummy & your Instagram feed. What's also noteworthy is the attention paid to garnishing. The smoked salmon came sprinkled with sesame seeds, the greens with grated cheese, while the avocado and eggs heated things up with a dash of chilli flakes - lending unique flavour twists to otherwise common ingredients. Further, pegged at only $12.90 (add $2.50 for smoked salmon), this is a brunch that won't break the bank. That said, the cheese can get a little heavy for those who aren't cheese lovers, so perhaps sharing this dish would be best! Be sure to grab some coffee while you're there as well - the iced white ($5) is a solid antidote to the Singaporean heat, that retains its prominent coffee flavours even as the ice melts. Free browsing copies of Kinfolk and Leica Photography International also ensure that you're all set for a long, lazy afternoon at this cafe spot.

ninjas eat good food!!!!!! if this homey new cafe is any indication 😉 the yasai bowl ($16) with added quinoa ($3) was pretty generous and satisfying--loved the marinade of the salmon sashimi, it paired beautifully with the onsen egg and tangy cherry tomatoes! texture of the dish was really good, i especially liked the contrast of the succulent salmon chunks to the quinoa grains, mixed with the runny onsen egg. my friend had the noka bowl ($14), featuring 24-hour braised beef cheek! last shout-out goes to the coffee here, which is excellent!! it had a pleasantly sweet after-note that was so addictive :-) will be back for their brunch offerings!

what a down-to-earth establishment! menu was simple and featured a variety of eggs done poached or scrambled in various fashions, accompanied by fresh-baked bread of your choosing. the farmer's ($14) came with sauteed mushrooms, grilled tomato and asparagus. the norwegian ($14) came with smoked salmon and fresh greens. poached eggs and hollandaise sauce were decent, especially given the price! bread was deliciously nutty and chewy :-))

creamy mushroom on sourdough ($12) with added scrambled eggs ($3)--great move because the scrambled eggs were excellent! possibly the best i've had in a cafe. highly recommended dish! candied bacon buttermilk waffle ($14) came with fluffy waffles, topped with vanilla bean ice-cream & sweet charred bacon. generous portions all-around. mocha ($5) was alright.

$18 + $2.50 (half an avocado) // the croissants were sliced and toasted, thus made easy to eat. If you love really soft scramble egg, you would definitely like this!

Nestled within Phoenix Park, Boufé Boutique Cafe is both quiet and charming, making it the perfect brunch spot for you and your date to get away from the city. The light-filled space combines a cafe and boutique under one roof, so you can fill your tummies before wandering around the selection of curated accessories and knick knacks. If weather permits, sit outdoors and sip on their homemade Ice Lychee Tea ($5.50) while taking in the lush surroundings. The Brioche French Toast ($19), homemade brioche topped with fresh berries, caramelised banana, almond crumble, drizzled with maple syrup and topped with light-as-air whipped cream, is very popular among the ladies. To feed ravenous male appetites, order the popular Triple B ($21), Boufé’s big breakfast that comes with a freshly baked miniature croissant, scrambled eggs, sausages, sautéed mushrooms, honey-glazed bacon and a generous amount of fresh greens. End your brunch date on a sweet note with Boufé's famed Strawberry Shortcake ($8), or the Citron Tart ($5.50) if you prefer something zestier. Wash it all down with a cup of aromatic Flat White ($5).

Ambience: Classy and modern
Price: Avg $60 per couple

🌶🦀🍝 MANTOU SLIDERS! & a fancy schmancy Ondeh Ondeh French Toast that was a good balance of flavours (not overly sweet / also you can't go wrong with brioche EVER mmm) (📷: @beaverwoo)

.
I will gladly choose scramble eggs as my preferred egg style.
.
Especially when it taste super creamy on crispy buttery crossiant toast.

Your experience at this light-filled, friendly spot is made even more egg-cellent with their Oven Baked Molten Eggs on Tortilla and Melted Cheese ($12.90). Cheese is melted atop two ready-to-burst slow cooked eggs promising a river of liquid gold. Beautifully sliced avocados, bright spinach, cherry tomatoes and a tortilla make wonderful accompaniments. If you need more, add Smoked Salmon ($3) or Bacon ($3, only available on weekends), and finish off with a lovely coffee.
