Yummy Food

At $66 (only 4pm to 6pm), the bag of seafood consists of tiger prawns, Boston bay mussels, loligo squid for both Pacific and Atlantic Catch. What differs is Alaskan King Crab legs and Venus clams for Pacific; Crayfish, Yabbies for Atlantic. Seafood was fresh!! Not a big fan of Yabbies though. We opted for Ultimate Curry (damn shiok we kept dipping into it) and Caboodle Mix (secret combination of local and Louisiana herbs and spices with garlic butter). This felt a bit more oily but the sweetness of the seafood was more evident. We actually added a crab for $55 and it was damn good but I think the other restaurant with the same concept might be slightly more worth it though.

The nicely charred octopus had a good spring in its step and the shrimpy nam jim had a most sassy and alluring tartness. Elsewhere, the buttery mash served as a marvellous binding agent for bringing together the octopus, peanut brittle, chilli and mysterious salty fried bits to create one deliriously exciting mouthful of woah. 4.2/5

This may be a common dessert offered in most restaurants (or easily whipped up from the comfort of your home); but what you get at Kilo that you don't get anywhere else, is the fantastic service and immense satisfaction you'll leave with - and that's definitely worth it. The cake itself is as good as you'd expect, boasting that beautiful flowy liquid chocolate. That aside, I was most impressed with the accompanying strawberry sorbet. It's just the right balance of sweet and tangy, smooth and not at all icey. Absolutely stunning.

I was expecting it to be risotto form but it comes in fried rice form! Superbly surprisingly delicious!!!! The wok hei taste is awesome! There's bits and pieces of char grains which gave a good smokey flavor to this dish.. With fried squid and bubbly ikura! The contrast of texture is thumbs up!

Good thing is that it was shared among 4 people who it's not too rich for us. We had it just nice. I was told that they made this raviolis in house. Amazing! The ravioli are nicely cooked. Al dente! The sake butter was enough to coat the raviolis, not too much. The filling of the ravioli is amazing! It's soft and fresh! I love raviolis!!!!!!!

The chef uses mixed mushrooms! Yummy! Chicken is well marinated and it's tender. And prices is very reasonable.
