We were in the mood for meat and decided to order the teppanyaki meat platter ($38 for 2) despite no of reviews for it. (Predominant of the reviews were on the okonomiyaki and monjayaki) The picture pretty much shows everything that you get for the platter including 4 pieces each of beef, chicken, pork and lamb, 2 pieces bacon and misc veg. Every type of meat that they served was pretty good, except for the beef (the seasoning was too salty). I really liked their teppanyaki onions! They were sweet and did not have the "spicy" after taste. I also enjoyed the slightly aged toufu very much! (The accompany soya sauce made the toufu very flavourful). Ordered the pork okonomiyaki ($10). The "pork" here really means "bacon". When I ordered this, I was deluded because I thought that this was a healthy option (huge chunks of cabbage). I was totally wrong, it comes with awesome starch, generous portion of pork, egg and topped with sinful loads of sauce and mayonnaise~ Sinfully good😹 The server (Ow) did a prefect job in cooking our okonomiyaki to crispy brown and under the okonomiyaki hides 4 strips of golden bacon that really "covered the ground". Great visual and gastro enjoyment. The only down side is that you go home with clothes and hair that smells like they ate the teppanyaki too! Xoxo, wet tissue no have; ice water 50c

Seiwaa is my new found love from the burppler's guide. This Japanese resturant in located in the heart of Little India. Seiwaa is not hard to find among another Indian shop as the 2 red lanterns in front of its shop really make it stand out. Order the highly raved seafood monjayaki ($10) and added the must-add Cheese ($3)! The verdict: heavenly yummy-"oyster mee Sua" sauce-pan fried to this gooey-crispy based goodness. This dish is predominately thin cabbage strips chopped up to form an intricate web but as you scrape (with this cute metal spoon they provide) the monja off the pan, it sets off a party in your mouth the moment you deliver it in. It is amazing as your brain tries to process everything at one go: the chewiness of squid, the crispness of the base, the soupy/gooey sauce texture, the crunch from the shrimp and sakura ebi, the cheesy portions, the curry powder (this is a free option!) and the "where is the cabbages". I have a strong feeling that this would make a great rainy day comfort food. The server by the name of Ow and the boss were excellent in making us comfortable and they cooked all our food (no burnt food 😁). If you are those who want extra fun/ hands-on/ want-to-show-that-you-make-a-good Wife-or-Husband type, you can choose to DIY. Best part is that when you screw up, you can quickly call for the server to help you salvage (seems to be pretty common)! Xoxo, wet tissue no have; ice water 50c

Came due to burppler's rave! The quality of ingredient is really good. The meat of the fish is fresh and meaty! However, I found the pickled cabbage too salty! It gets saltier as you eat so I recommend to drink the soup at the beginning. L size sea bass ($38). I actually liked the crispy duck dish more than the fish. Xoxo, wet tissue no have

This doughnut with lemon curd ($12++). The doughnut material taste like some atas "hum ji peng" (those fries pastry you get at the pastry stalls that is sometimes 3 for $2) I don't really like the lemon curd and doughnut combination. The lemon curd is too sour. Haha I'm so picky. Xoxo, wet tissue no have

This dish is call "Iberian pork collar" on the menu. (I googled, Iberian is like some southwest part of Europe). The server told me this is their most popular dish-- to a degree that it's a must-have after the sea urchin starter. The meat is really really tender and it has a char Siew sauce sweetness infused in it. The accompanying sauce taste like McDonald's chilli sauce but no spicy taste at all. The combination is perfect! The price tag for this European char Siew is $29++. Xoxo, wet tissue no have

This dish is ultra small (like 6 pieces of beef tripe) for $23++. Please be warned. I was expecting a mini pot worth of food. I think taste wise, it's yummy. The baby carrot cubes, onion cubes and some other veg that I don't know (0.1cm x 0.1cm) below makes it taste like dried "beef stew soup" haha. Xoxo, wet tissue no have.

Order this because one of the burpple's pictures featuring this looked so good!! Although this was not features as the TOP recommendation, I really like this and I highly recommend this. The grilled avocado is topped with breadcrumbs, pine nuts and sour creme~ perfect combination. The grilling process brings out a different char taste. The only thing I dislike about the dish is the price tag ($17++). Table spoon beside for reference. Lol xoxo, wet tissue no have

The sea urchin that keep appearing on my feed. Finally tried the half portion. It's a unique taste of sweetness, sourness and saltiness of fish roe all in one mouth with a very thick texture. Half portion cost ($22++). This one sort of tried for trying seek. Please note that portion is very small. The dessert spoon on the background is for reference. Xoxo, wet tissue no have
