Sweet and Sour Pork with Lychee on Ice -- this is my staple dish every time I dine at any Chinese restaurant and it's my personal gauge on how good they are at it too. The pork has to have this crunchy bite yet staying tender inside. The sauce has to have a good balance of sweet AND sour (no to vitamin c tasting sauce 🙅🏻) and lastly, i love it when they add fruits in it -- lychee or pineapple! This version by Taste Paradise surely made the cut 👍🏻
So happy with the newly opened Basil Thai Kitchen at the basement of Paragon Shopping Centre. Some of the must orders are the Tao Khua (in photo), Massaman Chicken Curry with Crispy Roti and the Keang Khua Poo which is yellow curry crab with vermicelli.
