Kouzu

Every time I see an oyster dish, it reminds me of the scene from Mr Bean where he had a nightmare experience with oyster. I am never a fan of oyster. But not anymore! At Kouzu, their oyster is baked in its shell with a creamy cheese-like topping. Use your fork and sort of twirl the contents in the shell, mixing the topping with the oyster flesh together. When sushi meets cheese baked rice 🍣+🧀+🍚

The hot stone bowl gives the bottom layer of rice a nice crust while the top layer remains soft. Served with thick cuts of unagi, scallop, some fish eggs and a runny egg. You start off your meal with moist grains and end your meal by scraping off crunchy rice at the bottom of the bowl. So yummy, you won't leave a grain of rice behind. So you do not need to worry of the chinese saying which goes 'if you leave a grain of rice unfinished, your future wife or husband would have pimples on his or her face'.
