1) tandoori chicken 2) balti paneer 3) vegetable jalfarezi 4) chicken tikko masala 5) indian railway mutton curry 6) goan fish curry 7) steam basmati rice 8) butter naan 9) garlic naan 10) mango lassi - extreme indian dining. Like not the tomato based gravies, the rest were ok. Tandoori chicken tasted superb. Yumz. Guilty, fulfilling meal. All your indian-cuisine cravings checkbox ticked off.
After more than a year of wanting to try Third & Sixth Bistro Bar, I finally managed to drag a few friends along with me to sample their offerings. Now, the only question is why it took me so long.
Their eponymously named No. 36 burger ($14) is beautifully crafted from a high quality beef patty that's tastefully thick and grilled to a cool pink medium rare (note to self: ask for it to be cooked medium the next time), followed up by a pile of strikingly sweet caramelized onions being laid atop the beef. A slice of cheddar cheese is then melted to marry the onions and beef together, followed up by two smoky rashers of bacon which are sensually draped atop the whole affair before the meaty menagerie is entombed by crusty, toasted multigrain buns.
The patty itself is a party in your mouth, due to it being superbly seasoned and tantalizingly juicy, before the creaminess of the cheddar and the savoriness and smokiness of the bacon elevates this beautiful beefy patty right into burger bliss. The bun is rather subjective, as one of my friends found it a bit too crusty for his liking while I personally enjoyed the crustier texture which contrasts well with the soft texture of the minced beef patty. Do note that the burgers are standalone, and the sides of fries come separately. And in all honesty, $10 for sweet potato fries and another $10 for shoestring fries with truffle mayonnaise on the side is kind of exorbitant.
Surprisingly, Third & Sixth was very quiet for a Saturday night, and service was excellent. In fact, the supervisor even had ample time to recommend us beers to go with our burgers, and the differences between Thatcher ciders. Overall, this Bistro is a choice venue to get your burger and boozing on at.
Braving the midnight drama and intoxicated drunkards, le 3am ramen crave is resolved at Lobster King!
Got the clear miso soup with all toppings ($19.90 before GST) only because the thick soup have ran out. The clear broth prove to be a refreshing choice.
Other then the usual pork char siew, the chicken variety was unexpectedly good. Extremely tender, i cant rave enough about it.
I have always been a keisuke ramen lover and this one proves why.
Coming at 3am also help skip the queue, we only waited about 10mins. Downside? The free flow eggs and side dishes were already gone. Looking on instagram, you can see the neighbourhood drunks playing with them and wasting it. Damn son.
25 Degrees is a burger joint from L.A. whose name is supposedly derived from the temperature difference between a raw and well done hamburger. Sounds pro right?

Tried their Cacaoholic which has raw cacao, banana, and soy milk as base. Then topped off with some Coconut and Dark Chocolate drizzle, raw cacao nibs, blueberries, and quinoa puffs.🍫🍫🍫 Probably the best way to enjoy some guilt free desserts. 😂

French toast 17.5-quite custardy, fluffy, has a nice exterior that go soggy probably because of the poached pears/ice cream. Pretty good. 3.75/5
Opened by Mediacorp actors Chew Chor Meng and Dennis Chew, this coffeeshop mookata is perfect for midnight supper runs as they open till 2am daily! Apart from its night owl-friendly timing, what we appreciate are the fresh ingredients and affordable prices — a meal would set you back an average of $12 to $15 per person. The meats (chicken, pork, beef) are well marinated without the heavy-handedness, and the prawns are fresh. You can also consider getting the set meal ($26 for two pax), which comes with a mixture of ingredients including prawns, mussels, scallops, mussels, pork collar and belly, chicken and veggies. Dip it in the accompanying chilli sauce, which Burppler Triffany Lim declares to be "dang awesome".
Avg Price: $15 per person
