Here for a gathering and we were wowed by the food and service! The sashimi were fresh, maki were yummy, grilled beef was tender and daikon salad was refreshing! We enjoyed everything we ordered and the presentation was gorgeous. To top it off, the service was attentive and pleasant. Would definitely be back for more!

Torio has 3 omakase menu ($80, $100 and $138) that you can choose from. We went for the Makoto which is the $100 menu and were happy with the range of very fresh and good quality seafood served. My favorites were the 3 layer otoro sushi, sashimi rice bowl (uni, chopped tuna belly and ikura), amberjack sashimi with truffle oil, amberjack with special broth and mentaiko oysters.

Back here for its parfaits. Ordered the deluxe parfait which is one of their bestsellers. The combi of creamy matcha soft serve with warabi mochi, azuki red bean, mochi and jelly was yummy!

You can choose to have the tendon with multigrain or white rice, and original or spicy sauce. Aka Fuji, the seasonal tendon, came with soft shell crab, prawn, tuna, avocado, tofu hamburg, sausage, bitter gourd, sliced chilli and chilli sauce. Food is yummy and worth the wait as everything is freshly fried upon your order.

Love it! Wanted to get the box of 20 pieces but it’s sold out! Had to settle for this cup of 8 pieces.

Thought the queue during lunchtime would be long but turned out to be not too bad. There are 5 types of obanyaki on the normal menu (original or matcha dough with different fillings) and a double chocolate one that’s available for a limited period only. It is slightly crispy outside and soft inside with yummy filling. As with all Japanese snacks, it’s not cheap ($2.90-$3.50; buy 5 get 1 free) but you are assured that they use quality ingredients. Thoroughly enjoyed my matcha dough with red bean paste and warabi mochi!

We had the mixed tempura with soba/rice, bara chirashi don and gyu don. All tasted so good and the portion size was generous. The miso soup and chawanmushi which came with the set meal were tasty as well. Overall a very satisfying meal!
