Est since 1954, Tai Cheong is very well known for their smooth textured egg tarts. Long queue for CNY takeaway but upon hearing from their crew that the durian & cheese tart is out of stock. The queue dissipates. One of our fav go to place for egg tarts as we prefer no burnt top and not too sweet type. Pandan tart > Classic > coconut
Itās lunch time and Michelin Bib Gourmand aside, CKT will always be our most favourite noodle dish that we are drawn to. Luckily there is no queue (we even manage to get the boss smile!! š...later on our IG š¤šø)

We order $5 small size with no hum. Then commute back to Bishan (20 mins). The wok hei aroma is still in the pack. We got 2 prawns, Chinese sausage, beansprout and of course Kway Teow noodle (dry and not soak with sauce like black CKT). This is no boring CKT and we have to admit that it is well seasoned and guess pepper might be in! We will most likely come back if in Old Airport Road Food Center again! š
