Here’s a challenge: try to finish eating this bowl without dropping anything on the table. I couldn’t, it’s such a full bowl with so much fruits and granola! The chia seed parfait is layered at the bottom, but when the acai melts it mixes into the chia seed parfait which is quite yummy. I would prefer this less sweet though. This bowl is big enough for a meal on its own.

Not many dessert places serve this. Ah Chew serves an excellent version and it’s my favourite of their desserts. I had the hot one and it was thick and smooth, with just the right proportion of egg white and milk, and not too sweet.

I’m a big fan of the poke bowls here, but this acai bowl was honestly a little weird. The acai itself was nice, too big scoops of cold refreshing acai that wasn’t too sweet or icy. Can’t go wrong with the kiwis, pomegranates, bananas, pink dragonfruit and granola either. But the substantial amount of coconut chia pudding at the bottom was oddly warm and had a very milky taste that didn’t go well with the rest of the bowl. The cacao nibs somehow didn’t taste as chocolatey as other cacao nibs I’ve tried, and the chocolate sauce drizzled on top was frozen so I had to eat it like solid chocolate. I’d rather come back to Poke Theory for their poke bowls.

Unlike the popular creamier flavours, the mango flavour feels more like a sorbet, tasting more tart and icy. It feels lighter than the other flavours too – I didn’t feel so full after eating it – and makes for a nice healthy-tasting snack.

I wasn’t planning to come back to Juju again so soon after my last trip, but I couldn’t resist trying the matcha! It’s not bad, but Juju has better flavours. Despite the saturated vibrant green colour, the matcha taste wasn’t strong, and I couldn’t taste much of the grassy bitterness of matcha that I like. Between the two “cha”s, I prefer the Houjicha flavour. I still liked this though, and the toppings were excellent as usual.

Of the flavours I’ve tried, this is one of my favourites, along with black sesame. The earthy bittersweet houjicha taste is strong, and it’s creamy but no overly so. It goes very well with the peanut butter drizzle. As usual, I really love the coconut chia pudding as well!

This was nice. Unlike some of the creamier flavours, dragonfruit has the texture of sorbet. It was refreshingly cold but not icy. This was my first time getting the chocolate drizzle, and it’s not as flavourful as the peanut butter drizzle, plus the chocolate froze into solid chocolate.

Really love the coconut chia pudding and cacao nibs. They seem to have replaced frozen blueberries with some sort of dried fruit (I think it’s apricot?). I think the blueberries went better with the rest of the bowl. If you have Entertainer, there’s a 25% discount which makes this $6.38!

I liked the black sesame, it’s cold, creamy, thick and mildly sweet but you can taste the faint bitter taste of black sesame as well. There’s also sliced bananas, buckinis, frozen blueberries, cacao nibs and, my favourite, chia pudding. The peanut butter sauce was the perfect topping.

Blueberry bread pudding. This was honestly a little weird. The texture reminded me of tapioca cake rather than bread. Nice crust at the top though, and the price is very reasonable.

Comes with banana slices and granola, 2 toppings and a sauce. I had longans, mangoes and coconut crunch sauce. I love the thickness of the yogurt, the crunchy bits in the sauce, and how all the flavours meld together nicely.

The steamed milk egg white here is one of my favourite warm desserts. It is luxuriously thick and creamy, yet still tastes light on the palate and is not too sweet. This is my first time getting the one with ginger juice and I prefer the original as the ginger juice is rather bitter.

This usually comes in a bowl, and this is the first time I've been given it in a cup. It comes with about half a cup of greek yogurt, sliced banana, granola, and two toppings and sauce of your choice (I chose blueberries, longan and coconut crunch sauce). I love the Greek yogurt, which is healthier, runnier and richer than froyo. The bowl is pretty filling and I can have it for lunch.
