I wanted to write a pizza joke but it was too cheesy

Chorizo Pizza ($18 Nett)
Have ordered 7 of their flavours and have always been satisfied.
Especially enjoyed the honey bacon pizza.

Chorizo pizza was very fragrant, with nice juicy slices of chorizo

Do note this place only has take away. Call in advance so theres minimal delay when you pick up.

Smoked Salmon Pizza ($28++)
Loved how the chunks of smoked salmon were so thick and well seasoned. Having capers on the pizza was a nice touch too.

However, the crust wasnt the thin wood fire crispy sort though. Felt it was a bit too chewy for my liking.

Ask to sit inside as the acoustics are much better. Outside can get a bit noisy and warm.

Spaghetti Hokkaido Scallop with Myoga Tobiko Wasabi taste ($27.90++).

Very interesting dish as I've never had wasabi in my pasta before. However, what stood out was how juicy the scallops were. Each scallop had a nice char on the outside, yet was juicy and not overcooked.The presence of the tobiko also ensured each bite was bursting with flavour.

Tagliollini Scampi with Cherry Tomatoes ($27.90++).

Pasta was alright, with the tomato base pretty standard. Would recommend their cream based pastas instead which were richer and tastier.
Must point out that the prawns which accompanied this dish were huge and easy to peel.

Love that this place serves bread and breadsticks as appetisers. Made us feel like we were dining in Italy!

Ricotta Ravioli in Truffle Cream Sauce ($23.90++)
Loved how the ravioli sheets was well seasoned without being too soft or hard. done al dente, and not too bland. Filling was decent, but the star of the dish was the rich truffle cream sauce. You could smell the fragrance once the dish arrived at our table.

Didnt get a chance to take a picture, but we also enjoyed the Hokkaido Scallop, Squid & Herbs Pizza ($24.90++) which came with a very generous amount of toppings which complemented the cheese perfectly.

Black magic ($38++)
asparagus, black truffle cream, iberico ham, cheese. tastes like a carbonara flavoured pasta. I found it strange having asparagus on the pizza, but i liked how the cheese had this creamy texture which combined all the flavours together
Pizza also had a good crust. light, thin and crispy.

The restaurant has a long waiting list, so make sure you get a reservation before going in!
Even then, there are 2 seatings. 6.30 and 8.30 for dinner.

J-dog ($37++)
Pizza with pork sausage, bacon, pepperoni, jalapeno, red sauce
very much enjoyed this pizza, with the strong flavours coming out from the pork sausage.
good mix of flavours blending together.

Pizza also had a good crust. light, thin and crispy.

Original famous ($28++) is a five cheese blend with tomato and basil. Something like a margherita.

While decent, i expected a lot more considering the price. Would recommend you try the other pizzas such as the j-dog or black magic

Carbonara ($8nett)
Wanted to try their pastas as I've been i.pressed with their steaks and sides.

Was left disappointed with the pasta not seasoned well.
Plus point is that the dish comes with 3 pieces of pork belly instead of the usual bacon bits. But it can leave the pasta being reduced to just a creamy pasta with pork on top.

Best to stick to the steak. You wont be disappointed.

Brussel sprouts ($10++)
Get the brussell sprouts if you want some vegetables. The candied pecan and fried garlic hits the spot, and the sauce has the right amount of sweetness.

The chef also ensures a nice layer of char on its side.

Duck Ragu Tortiglioni ($25++)

Tomato sauce was well reduced to make this a dish bursting with flavour. Good too if you like your pastas al dente.

While this dish was nice, i'd recommend the gnocchi if you can only try one dish.

Gnocchi: $23++

It's hard to find good gnocchi in Singapore. Most are too flour-y while others too potato-ey. But Caffe Cicheti get theirs spot on with a perfect balance of flour and potato. Each dumpling is also pan fried to give it a charred layer.

The rich mushroom sauce too doesnt overpower the dish, with it not having the typical earthy taste of mushroom. The dish is topped with shaved parmigiano to perfectly complement the dish.
