One of the best meals that I have discovered through Burpple is Loyang Way Big Prawn Noodles, situated at quite an ulu place! But is definitely worth the trip!
• Big Prawn Noodles, Dry ($5)
I decided to try on the dry version and was given an additional big bowl of soup. The noodles is topped with crispy pork lard and fried shallots. I would recommend to request for more chili in the dry noodles as it really adds much more flavors.
• Pork Rib Prawn Noodles, Soup ($5)
The pork ribs is tender within expectation. The soup is very luscious. It spots a bright orange hue and the soup is full of umami.

To my delight, the yam filling oozed out when I bite on it. The yam paste was very creamy and luscious. Is not too sweet and it was evident that actual yam went into making the paste as there was a starchy aroma.

To my delight, the black sesame filling oozed out when I bite in it. The aromatic filling of black sesame goes so well with its springy skin, reminded me of Japanese mochi.

The soft and stretchy glutinous rice flour skin fascinated me, bouncy and chewy. Black seasame and yam flavors remains my favourite!

The noodles are infused with seafood unaminess and are rich due to the copious amount of lard used. Surprisingly, the wok hei from the charcoal fire is lighter than I expected. All is good except for the fried pork lards which I find it abit rancid/stale which is big nono for me.

It comes with standard five ingredients with meat-stuffed fillings. Their chili is awesome, should have ask for more to mixed into my noodles. The only complaint I’ve here is the soup is lukewarm, as I prefer my soup hot. Portion size is small.

• Soya Bean Milk (S$1.30)
An average good cup of soya bean milk.
• Beancurd (S$1.50)
Smooth and silky warm beancurd

Crispy roti prata that cooked for you on the spot once ordered! Thin and slightly crispy at the sides, with good fish curry served. However, lack of buttery taste.
