CAFE DATES
I think I found the nicest ice cream waffle combi🙆🏻♀️. Wheatmilk the sourdough waffle. Never ever goes wrong with this.
It’s very expensive food for a small little cafe with not-so-great ambience and service. Seems like the price has already taken into account the 1 for 1.
A simple Korean bbq pork dish (with rice) was $23. Pasta was $21, and pork ribs were $22 as well. Even with the 1 for 1 deal, we paid a total of $55 for 4 pax, which... imo... wasn’t worth the money considering the quality of the food.
Probably won’t come back again. But staff were nice though, music just a little too loud and annoying.
Put this hidden gem in the heartlands of Bukit Merah on your weekend to-go list! Complete with chic decor and a lovely ambience, this cafe serves delicious Western fusion fare worth the visit. Burppler Jia Min Ngui recommends the fragrant Truffle Mushroom Pasta ($14.90), which comes with bacon strips, sausage and a runny poached egg. Also delicious is the crispy Smoked Salmon Swiss Rosti ($14.90).

located within the deep recesses (a gross exaggeration - but we did have much difficulty finding the place) of pinnacle @ duxton, lies a "food court", which vaguely reminded me of timbre+, albeit in an enclosed area with (much needed) aircon!
absolutely loved the mushroom sauce on the burger!! they even properly asked for the doneness of the beef as well.
Lola’s has been around for many years, I remember coming here during my secondary school days, just chilling with friends and having some of their wings (which is STILL good!). I absolutely love their truffle fries - shoe string fries topped with lots of parmesan cheese! I ordered their basil pesto chicken sandwich, which i felt was average (chicken was a little dry). I enjoyed their big breakfast more though, which is really hearty, definitely will keep you full! Would recommend this place if you’re looking for a place to hang out and if you’re in the area! It can get crowded on the weekends though, so come early! :)
