Vegetarian/ Vegan 🥦🥬
This was prob the best dish out of everything. They handmade their burger bun, which was decently soft, and patty was crispy. Best part was really just their fried onion rings, which was super huge and crispy!
Overall quite pricey food that didn't exactly impress. Had way better vegetarian food elsewhere :')
Overall Rating: 6/10
Came in a really huge serving, with Pesto sauce, olives, feta cheese, grated parmesan cheese, fresh rocket, fresh basil leaves, extra virgin olive oil. Pesto had a flavour that's pretty different from the usual, so I wasn't really used to it.
This was q average too, with the ingredients being Mushrooms, capsicum, corn kernels, coriander and brown rice simmered in a kombu broth with soy milk and turmeric.
NGL these huge dumplings really caught my attention, but it was really underwhelming tastewise. Wasn't really flavourful imo.
[The Kind Bowl] - Tasting
Have you tried vegan Vietnamese food before?!
@thekindbowl_sg has a few outlets in Singapore, including Killiney Road and myVillage at Serangoon Gardens, where you can get some pretty good Viet food fix!
The Kind Pho ($10.80)
Served with rice noodles, this bowl of pho literally impressed me by being really flavourful, yet not being able to tell that it's Vegan at all! It's amazing how they can create such a flavourful broth without any meat, it's pretty amazing.
There's also other drinks available such as Sweet Potato Latte (Iced - $7.50), and Flower Ade ($6.90)!
Strawberry Chung Milk ($7.90)
Chung is a kind of preserved puree made with fresh fruits and sugar, and can be served in many ways, such as in drinks like ades and milk, as well as Toppings for desserts for a sweet refreshing taste.
Obsessed with sweet potato fries ($12)
This is essentially what you'd expect from sweet potato fries, only qualm is it didn't retain its crispiness for long.
Doenjang Truffle Risotto ($25)
We chose to add on a Sous Vide Egg, but you can opt for vegan options instead! Really interesting that they used Barley rice here, and the mushroom flavour was pretty strong as well. Wouldn't mind even more truffle, and this is great for sharing as it may get slightly jelak after awhile!
Grilled Cheese Kimchi Sandwich ($16)
Really loved how the vegan cheese and kimchi flavours paired well together, and the toast also came crispy, with a strong kimchi flavour overall - personally really enjoyed it!

MAINS
Torta Di Riso Pasta ($22) (Vegan)
Really enjoyed the flavour of this vegan pasta, which was strong in the ddokbokki sauce flavour! Vegan cheese also went well with the pasta altogether, and I loved the addition of Korean Rice Cake, esp because I am a fan of it. The vegan based squid and shrimp tasted similar to konjac or fish cake in terms of texture.
[elemen]
As part of their 8-course meal, their drinks are quite worth a mention too. Iced coconut mint with butterfly pea flower - this drink was not only aesthetically pleasing, it was really refreshing too. Despite not being a fan of mint, this coconut water paired with mint was enjoyable, although I removed the mint leaves midway for less of the mint flavour. The drink also came with coconut flesh! Sea salt coffee had a pretty good sea salt flavour from the cream/ foam, which paired well with their coffee.
