if you love some ultra crispy bread (think crisp and light croutons and not some raw and limp white bread), please please PLEASE try the Pork Sando. Jan packed with exciting ingredients and a good kick of spice, it’s a real flavour party. Thought that the sandwich would be a little dry with the absence of a heavy sauce, but it proved us wrong.

B.E.C is super rich and satisfying. But the star of this meal definitely has to be the pork sando.

Go for the pork sando if you want to hit flavour town and cronch on some quality toast. Go for the B.E.C for some sinful treats

We had the mixed dumpling platter ($20) and the braised pork noodles ($7.50). Here’s our ranking of the dumplings, in the order of best to mediocre: (1) Prawn & Crab; (2) Pierogi; (3) Veggie Mandu; (4) Original; and (5) Smoked Duck.

The Prawn & Crab was the highlight of our meal. Stuffed with thick, juicy pieces of prawn, and accompanied by a kick of spice, it seems like a refreshing take on the classic Har Gau. Those allergic to peanuts should definitely avoid this dish though! It’s topped with chopped peanuts.

The Mayo on the Veggie Mandu didn’t feel necessary — it was a little heavy when paired with the lighter tasting dumpling.

The smoked duck is really the definition of ‘meh’ — just smoked duck and dumpling skin. Nothing too inspiring ☹️

The cold brew wasn’t as fruity as others that I’ve tried. If you prefer your coffee with nut milk, you should definitely try this! There’s a strong nutty taste with a great, smooth blend between the coffee and the milk.

The iced coffee with jelly was a pleasant surprise — the jelly added a nice coffee kick. The coffee jelly melts in your mouth, adding a different dimension that’s not too abrupt. You won’t have to chew the jelly!

The muffin is made with Marou chocolate, a brand in Vietnam. I was delighted to find it here in Singapore! If you prefer your muffin to be on the denser side, this muffin may not be for you. It feels more like a cupcake than your normal dense muffin.

Overall, I loved coming here! Drinks are very worth it with Burpple Beyond. Plus points for great and very nice staff!

No more needs to be said — all the dishes we had were amazing! 🤤 My personal favourites included this pork bun, the tofu and broccoli, and the steamed pomfret. Fantastic, traditional Hokkien dishes served by warm and motherly staff! Give them a visit — you surely won’t regret it 💛

Finally a branch at the west side!! Love the rich and flavourful lou rou paired with the warm fragrant rice. The 3 slices of cucumbers look quite underwhelming but it’s definitely a good addition to the dish. I’m not too sure if they slightly pickled it but it was super light and refreshing!! However, I felt that the salted vegetables didn’t have much taste to it and thus didn’t add much flavour to the overall dish.

So not be fooled by the size of the bowl it’s served in. It was definitely more than enough for this girl with a giant appetite.

We had the Eggplant and Avo & Eggs Double Toasts with Lemonade — total price at $21. The eggplant was warm and done pretty well. Overall okay dishes, nothing exceptional, but we did love the ambience of the cafe!

We bought 3 Forager ($10.90) burgers! Wolf Burger’s specific combination of provolone cheese, Swiss button mushroom and a juicy beef patty between two fluffy brioche buns is the perfect, classic marriage of good ingredients to have in a burger. We especially loved the buns - they were well buttered and toasted, leaving a nice, crispy outer layer for a good bite into the bun!

With 25% off your total bill, this was way better than stopping by the McDonalds’ next door. Why buy a Macs Angus Beef burger when you can get the Forager at Wolf Burgers?

Ice cream was great — not too sweet, and with a good balance of flavours. We had the Rocher, Earl Grey and Peanut Butter ice cream. The flavours on display were interesting as well!
Staff weren’t the most friendly :””)) but we had a good time with good ice cream!

We stumbled across this family-run establishment when we smelled the chiffon cake from across the street. The staff / owner was very friendly, and he told us that they’ve been here for over 30 years! We had a huge slice Gula Melaka Chiffon cake and sampled a bit of their homemade kaya — I haven’t tasted any kaya as good as theirs in a long time! 🤤

Great food and fantastic service! We had the Lamb Shank ($26), Ribeye ($26), Honey Glazed Pork Ribs ($26), Mushroom Soup ($5) and the Lava Cake. We really loved the mains, which were done very well — the meat was tender and falling off the bones 😍 The icing on the meal (cake) was the Lava Cake! We’ll definitely return ☺️
