Nasi lemak is served à la carte with a range of dishes to choose from. I got myself a plate consisting of rice ($1), curried cabbage ($1), chicken wing ($1.80), begedel ($0.80) and fishcake ($0.80) along with sambal chilli on the side with slices of cucumber.

The rice has fragrant notes of pandan and coconut milk, lemak enough without being too rich. The chicken wing has a light crisp on the outside with moist and tasty flesh underneath. Begedel was undeniably tasty, crispy on the outside with soft and mushy potato filling inside. Sambal fishcake was firm and bouncy, coated with sambal chilli. Not to mention how addictive their sweet and spicy sambal chilli that goes so well with their coconut rice 》$5.40

The nasi lemak special has everything on one plate. It comes with chicken wing 🍗, selar fish 🐟, egg 🥚, ikan bilis with peanuts 🥜, cucumber 🥒 and sambal chilli 🌶️.

The rice 🍚 is infused with coconut 🥥 fragrance and aroma. Chicken wings 🍗 are well marinated and deep-fried till crispy on the outside and juicy inside. The selar fish 🐟 was well seasoned and bigger than the usuals we get elsewhere. Last but not least, the sambal 🌶️ was good, not too spicy and leans more to the sweet side. This really gives you the bang for your buck 💰 with a generous portion of ingredients for just $3.50! I even topped an extra begedil 🥔 to make it a whole hearty brunch on a weekend 😍

A popular place for dinner/supper that dishes out a wide selection to feed the young and old. Food is always freshly cooked in batches and replenishes fast. The rice was loose (not clumpy) and light on the coconut. The chicken wing is crispy on the outside and succulent inside but there wasn't much taste to it and their sambal chilli leans more on rather sweet than spicy.

Each set came with a fried egg, tempeh, fried ikan bilis and peanut, served with homemade sambal. The coconut rice is fluffy, moist and infused with blue pea flowers that gives a lovely blue colouring.

The rendang chicken set comes with a huge chicken drumstick that is tender and coated with rendang. The chicken wings were crispy and juicy but I feel that it lacks flavour and tempeh was soggy probably due to the vapour formed when we chose to takeaway.

I would try this because of the infused blue pea rice otherwise the side dishes and toppings is something that I will not remember.

Nasi lemak with fried pork belly, homemade achar, egg, anchovies, peanuts and homemade sambal.

Thinly sliced pork belly fried till extra crispy on the outside while retaining some moisture on the inside. It turned out better than expected as I thought it would be hard and dry just by looking at the thickness and crispiness of the pork belly. The homemade achar and sambal chili complimented well with the pork belly.

Nasi lemak with yellow ginger chicken, homemade achar, egg, anchovies, peanuts and homemade sambal.

The yellow ginger (turmeric) chicken is aromatic, moist, juicy and flavourful which goes well with the homemade crunchy achar and sambal chili. However, the rice was plain and lacks ‘lemak’ flavours. Overall it is still worth the try but it would better if they are to make improvements to the coconut rice.

This stall serve nasi lemak in sets or you can build and customise it with your choice of dishes. I chose to have mine with chicken wing, otah, sambal goreng and of course sambal chilli! The sweet and spicy sambal chilli is good and pairs well with everything. I don't mind eating just coconut rice with their sambal chilli.

There's always a snaking queue to this stall. Not the best nasi lemak but decent enough. The portion served is quite big and pretty worth the price paid.

They have one of the best chicken wings here. Rice was lemak enough and sambal was perfect 👍 Their fish cake are very soft too.

What took me so long to discover this? I join the snaking long queue out of curiosity because Singaporeans love to just follow blindly and queue. Got queue means something good! 😂

Egg, ikan bilis, peanuts, cucumber and sambal chili 》$5.90 + Otah $1.80

*Top-up $1 for calamansi / water chestnut

It can never go wrong when we had to queue for at least 20mins for these. The rice were not lemak enough but the chicken wings/drumstick were the best! 👍

I'm in a relationship with food. Why can't we just declare our never ending love and vows towards some food item? I'm sure that would not result in divorces.
