Came in for a dinner on a weekday night and the food was great, dishes were executed well, especially the ribeye as well as the prawn pasta. Overall, would recommend for a weekday treat!
Had dinner together with my partner at this unassuming restaurant located in the heart of CBD! We shared 1 starter, 2 mains and 1 dessert and were both stuffed at the end of the night!
My personal favourite would definitely be the Grass-Fed Ribeye, the beef melted in our mouths and the accompanied red wine sauce matched it really well.
The manager Roger(?) and the staff on that night was really attentive to us as well, compliments to the both of them!
The fried baby squid was crunchy and juicy with the chili crunch aioli serving as the perfect complement. Truffle ravioli was just right, the sauce wasn’t too creamy or diluted. Grass fed ribeye melts in your mouth. The red wine sauce added a nice touch too. The ambience, service and food quality were exceptional
Baby squid covered in flavourful batter, paired with their homemade concoction: Aioli and Chilli Crunch Oil. The sauce provided lots of depth and flavour to the already flavourful squid.
Recently visited Market Bistro and food really amazed me with from their unique tasty baby squid to their exclusive wagyu beef burger, very juicy and one of the best burgers i have had in a while! Definitely would recommend if looking for something high quality and affordable. Duck confit was also another stunning dish, very tender and juicy over a fluffy bed of mashed sweet potato! Fried cheese was ordered last minute as it looked too good to pass on and wow was it a great decision, freshly fried cheese drizzled with honey and jalapeños to accompany it was such a pleasant surprise to the tastebuds!
Came in on a Wednesday night, place was busy but not full. Nice warm lighting and cozy environment. Greeted by our friendly server who was more than happy to give recommendations on their best sellers.
Ordered a baby squid and jalapeno appetiser to start it off. Really enjoyed the "Lao Gan Ma Aioli" that came with the squid, must-try if you are planning to get an appetiser.
For my own main, was recommended the wagyu burger instead of the steak. Did not disappoint at all. The fries were average but the burger was juicy and packed full of flavour from the wagyu patty. Buns were solid but fluffy on the inside.
Got a brownie dessert to end off the meal, was lowkey my favourite dish from here. The chocolatey goodness and melt in your mouth texture of the brownie topped off the meal perfectly. Will be back!
