Every visit, sure got order this dish. It's one of their best dish ever. So fatty, chewy, savoury and sinful. But don't overeat, else it became jelak. The  crunchy chilli helps to give a change to palate.

Soft and silky tofu with fried skin, drenched in savoury sauce.

Need to have some greens. The simple aromatic stir fry with garlic style give the vegetables its best natural taste.

Thick, fatty and meaty bbq knuckle that make you feel sinful afterinf eating it but still you will want it again. The spice is moderately spiced. Thr meat and fats were easy to chew.

Good for snacking. Crunchy diced chicken that isn't that overly spicy and numb.

Standard dumplings to fill the stomach. It was okay.

Stir-fry egg cooked with chives. Eggy and juicy.

As always, an affordable and nice meal dining here.

Not feeling well today and craving for this?? Lol. My taste preference clearly has changed over years 😅

This dish has a very comforting sour/hot broth that can whet one’s appetite. Generous thin fish slices were perfectly poached and has a silk-like plump texture. Serving is huge as well, good for group sharing

This place still gets easily crowded with their decent pricing and decent authentic food

I ordered a bowl of beef noodles at Oriental Chinese Restaurant yesterday and the beef is both tender and tasty. However, the dish looks a bit plain and the portion is quite small for me. This dish costs $5.50, but I realised that there is a minimum spending of $10 per person imposed at this restaurant, so my friends and I had to order more than we initially planned. I will rate this dish 6.5/10.

These came piping hot, and slightly crispy on the outside, but skin was again too thick.

Quite a lot of misses - not sure if we ordered the wrong dishes, as their menu was really huge. It's affordable overall though, considering we paid $246.20 for 10 dishes & assorted skewers, with drinks included for a total of 10 pax!

Note: it's always very crowded and even after calling to reserve we had to wait for some time before the table is cleared for us.

Skin was too thick for my liking. Flavourwise was okay but nothing amazing.

Pretty flavorful and not spicy, would pair well with rice, considering it's quite salty.

This was a huge plate of chicken (we picked boneless), and the chicken was really crispy.

This was a miss for me, as the good ones are usually with thick and tender pork, but this one here was thin, dry and hard. Flavour was also not there.

Had high expectations considering the one at Dong Bei Ren Jia was pretty strong in the salted egg flavour and additive, this one paled in comparison. Batter wasn't crispy enough and salted egg wasn't prominent.

Xiao Long Kan has set the high bars for fried mantou - this one here wasn't crispy, and not fluffy nor fragrant, which was disappointing.

This was also pretty fishy (unfresh) so I'd prob reco skipping.

Chicken skewers were also pretty tender, and it's difficult to go wrong with Taiwan sausage.

Skewers that I reco skipping would be their grilled squid ($4), potato, and beef which was chewy and gamey.

Many Chinese restaurants used to sell skewers but no longer offer them, but this was one of the few that still sold skewers, which was why I had to check them out!

Assorted Skewers
The bread ($2) was essentially grilled bread with sugar, so it's slightly sweet. Grilled Fish tofu ($3) was surprisingly quite nice - soft, chewy and flavourful. Enoki was prob one of the best dishes here.
