Ending my short trip in Melbourne with a flat white (AUD4.50) at this standing room only coffee house. Packed to the brim with a long queue snaking out, it’s easy to spot #PatriciaCoffeeBrewers from afar.
Pastry was decent but their coffee is the bomb. Nice silky latte with a hint of chocolaty end note. The beauty blend of beans created the right balance of acidity and bitterness. It seem to be simple but find the right ratio required years of training and minor adjustment.
Newfound love for cold filters, they do it so well here! I’ve never found Melbourne’s coffee to be mind-blowing, maybe cause we’ve now got so many good options back home — and Melbourne’s espresso blends tend to be more acidic which isn’t really what I like? But this time, going at my own pace and hopping across one coffee spot to another, I think I understand why so many people call Melbourne a coffee hub and an absolute ☕️ heaven. A super clean mouthfeel, well-balanced, and easy drink, Patricia’s cold filter’s a little different from the ones I’ve had elsewhere in Melbourne for how (for the lack of a better word) plain it is. Not a bad thing for sure; I downed mine in a matter of minutes.
Coffee ☕ and 💄Red Lippy will carry me through today 😊 #mondayblues #mondaymorning #monday
Keep calm and drink coffee. Le buddy and I are surely finding excuses for just a cuppa 😏
Had a marron (large fresh water crayfish) feast for lunch. Must say that fresh water stuff aren't as tasty as their salt water relatives
Good Morning Melbourne :) it's Thursday already! Do yourself a favour and have a cup of coffee :)
Coffee stop 4 (and the last for the day) - Flat white at Patricia Coffee Brewers using Market Lane coffee beans.
