Past by the newly-opened Perkz Cafe near the Blk 502 West Coast Market & Food Centre (it replaces a floral shop near the bus stop) and decided to drop in for a visit. Currently in soft-launch phase, only muffins and coffee are available with the Flat White at $4 and Muffin for $1 on top of every coffee order. The muffin (baked in house btw) was surprisingly not too oily within, speckled with melted chocolate bits all over for a little sweetness — the chocolate was well spaced out so it doesn't get too overwhelming on any part of the muffin. Using blends by Dutch Colony Coffee, the Latte was smooth and creamy with nutty and earthy flavour profile.
