Chicken fillet battered and deep fried, served with a sweet Thai Chili dip. I found the batter really tasty! I was also quite impressed by the huge pile of chicken. Though this was the only meat dish we had (except the fish in the Tom yam), it fed the 3 of us really well. π This would make a really good finger food too! And when we were there, drinks were going at 2 for the price of 1.
A classic done well ~ crunchy vege with the savoury pungent kick of belachan. This was one of my friends' fave dish!
Choose between 2 serving sizes - bowl or pot. We chose to get a pot cause you can never have too much Tom yam! Our soup came bubbling in a hotpot, filled really generously with thick slices of fish, tomatoes and mushrooms. It packed a good kick but wasn't overwhelming or choking, which made it a joy to slurp up~ the flavour and tang of all the spices was also quite robust.
Very pleased with the fluffiness of this omelette! And it wasn't at all greasy!
First time tried the food. Their Tom yam clear soup quite bland. I can't feel the sourness too. Was quite disappointed with the food as I compare it with those Thai food at golden mile.

We ordered a Tom Yum Seafood Soup (Hotpot size), assorted fried platter (Ngoh Hiang, Thai Fried Prawn Cake, Thai Fried Fish Cake, Mini Fried Chicken Drumlets) and Thai Green Mango Salad to share. The Tom Yum Soup was addictive and had several chunks of fish meats and prawns. The Green Mango Salad was refreshing. The staff service was over the top. They provided a special birthday service - a miniature elephant keychain and a small card, as a birthday token!
This must be everyone's favorite, fried chicken with garlic. It can act as a snack food or part of a meal with other dishes and rice. I had this at Porn's Thai casual dinning. My meal here last night with my CG was much better than any Thai express I've had. But maybe cause of The variety and availability of Thai express we find ourselves still going to there.
