Coming home to close family friends gathered at my place for a hearty meal definitely felt good after study-eat-sleep-watch-videos reading week routine. I stand corrected with my recent critical ritz apple strudel review after tonight. After 2&1/2 large slices, I am sold by the flaky pastry and not overly sweet custard and cream with Apple chucks filling. The 3 families gathered, managed to finish 2 full sized strudel because the fresh combination of flaky pastry and Apple cream filling was just too irresistible. We deduced that you only get this fresh and good standard when you order the full size instead of the prepackaged smaller options at the store. That was some satisfying dessert after a sumptuous Chinese dinner!
Love the flakiness of the pastry, the sweetness of the cream and the crunchiness of the apples! Oh! Gimme a slice of that while I watch my drama!
